Inspirational Stories – Wisdom has nothing to do with age (Latino Education, The Latino Community, Education In Crisis)

Latino Education does not always have to come from formal schooling. The Latino Community is said to be going through an education in crisis. But that is about to change. Learn from inspirational examples such as David and see that the Latino Community is rich in education, inspiration and action.
David Martinez’s Equadorian ancestors prepared him well. He was born and raised on US east coast, was the first in his family to get a Bachelor’s degree. His family does not fit the Latino stereotype of being large. He has been given values from his family.
He started working at 15 and never stop since. His working is about responsibility and the experience. The worst feeling in the world: It is out of my hands. That comes from pointing blame. Be accountable for your actions and your results.
He has been very selfless. He has been coaching kids in soccer, has been involved with political leaders such as ALPFA, has been volunteering for years. For him, volunteering is about the impact he can make.
In most of the endeavors he has followed so far, he has been the youngest. A true fast track career! I am looking forward to seeing him on the President’s Chair one day as the youngest President of the USA! 😉
Listen to this uplifting interview that teaches you that wisdom, proactivity and contribution does not know age!
